INNOVATIVE WASHING SYSTEMS

We are a cozy laundry in the center of Milan that has as its target "the welfare of what you wear" because in our washing systems we use only non-toxic products.

We are careful to our physical form, to the food we eat, to the environmental impact of the products we buy, but are  we careful about what we wear?

When you visit us, entering the laundry, the only smell that you might experience is that of lavender from which we borrowed the name and to which we were inspired by the colors, no smell of solvents.

You may not know that when you bring in the laundry to dry clean a garment, in 95% of cases it is immersed in perchlorethylene , a solvent that "causes skin irritation, may cause allergic skin reaction, and is suspected to be carcinogenic."

When a garment is delivered to us in the first place we evaluate the possibility of a wet-cleaning washing, which is a water washing system using computerized washing machines that check with absolute precision every washing step and insert up to six different detergent-additive, making possible to treat even garments that have dry cleaning label.

If it is not possible to use wet-cleaning, our "dry cleaning" is done with modern machines that do NOT use perchlorethylene , but a mixture of isoparaffinic hydrocarbons. Isoparaffinic hydrocarbons present no allergenic risk, and give the fibers a new youth.

The end result is always a garment absolutely clean, soft, perfectly ironed, in other words like new!

Dry cleaning with solvents Isoparaffinic

• Use of non-chlorinated and non-toxic solvents.

• Washing of fibers or components not normally dry-cleaned with perchlorethylene.

• Absence of odors on garments.

Wet cleaning

• Use of washing machines and computerized high technology dryers that, with use of soap without solvent, allow to wash clothes of any fabric.

• Use of specific detergents for natural fibers that protect them from warping and respect the colors.
